BHK is a flat notation used to identify or describe the layout of a flat.
In India, it is common misconception theory. Sometimes it seems like little confusing.
Let us explain these in detail.
The numeric value before any of those letters will indicate the number of rooms.
What is BHK means?
BHK full form is – Bedroom, Hall & Kitchen
If it says 2B that means it has – 2 Bedroom,
2H means – 2 Hall/Living room,
2K means 2 Kitchen
Now let’s see what else notations are used in common. Here we have attached the typical flat diagram to illustrate.

| 0.5 BHK means | 0.5 Bedroom, 1 Hall & 1 Kitchen | Bedroom which has a smaller size (normally below the standard size referred by 0.5). Normally they will be recommended as library or study room size. But we can use it as bedroom | Assume the 1 BHK Flat layout except the bedroom size will be less than the standard size |
